Tennis  

 

1. What did you learn about "lifelong wellness" from taking this General Education Class?

              I learned a lot about lifelong wellness from tennis, i learned that its really imporant to stay in shape no matter what the sport is, at first i thought that tennis was going to be a walk in the park and that i wouldnt really have to work a lot at it but i was way wrong. i also learned how to take care of my  gear and how to communicate with others, for example when were playing doubles you have  both have to be on the same page or you both could end up going after the same hit or not going for a ball at all.

2. How would you apply this information to your life?

           i think that the information that i obatined from this class will help me out so much in my life, for example i feel that the skills that ive obtained from this class are skills that i can use until i die. i plan on playing tennis until i die. i also feel that im in better shape then i had been in the past, i feel more comfortable with my ablity to communicate with others in a sports atmosphere and as well as outside of it.

3. What is your intentions to continue to practice what you have learned in your life and why?

           My intentions are to keep on playing tennis for the rest of my life because i enjoy it a lot and its a sport that i could teach to my family. the skills that were taught to me will help me in the job atmosphere as well becuase i had to learn how to deal with people in a group setting and how to communicate effectly with them. i feel a lot more comfortable when i go oout and play tennis on my own against one of my friends etc.

4. General ideas for Improving this course?

        i honselty enjoyed the whole class and i wouldnt change anything about it.
